i feel like a host at these entertaining shoots. but the worst host ever and always ordering my guests around and telling them when and how to eat and when and how to play. then when i say stop they have to stop eating or whatever they were playing and exit. and if we didn't like what they wore to the party they have to change. maybe that's why i don't like to throw real parties cuz i can't snap out of this mode?!
Bad Host
wrapped a really fun entertaining shoot the other day. a big shoot with cast of 12 for a summer afternoon party. food styled by rori trovato (who also brought some amazing santa barbara spot prawns as a treat, which are only in season like 2 weeks out of the year or something. they were sweeter than candy i swear), prop styled by dane holweger, and wardrobe styled by sara stanley. so half of our shots were around the food/entertaining, and the other were all fun activities and games. def one of my favorite type of shoots cuz i love switching from still life to people and back and forth. so crazy and so fun. i love the pictures and can't wait to share when the feature comes out in june. tearsheet and collage to come.
